World’s best skiing resorts are found in France, ski over 480 kilometers in the French Alps. The skiing season runs from early December to April, during this period there is a 95% chance of a good think snow layer.

In France there are several hiking routes marked throughout the country called Sentiers de Grande Randonnee. A lot of people also tent to rent bikes and travel the marked routes on the pedals, which could be quiet tricky because of rocks and narrow passes. There are also several cycling paths along the Atlantic coast and the Spanish border. The more sportive enthusiastic bikers can climb into the Pyrenees that separates France from Spain.

The possibilities are endless in Scotland: water rafting, canoeing, sailing and yachting on the lochs and rivers.
During the winter you can go skiing or snowboarding in one of Scotland’s ski resorts.
