Discover Scuba Diving in Spain

The southern part of Spain is blessed with so many beaches and you can also do other water activities, such as snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving and so on. There are plenty of diving sites in southern Spain and if you haven’t tried scuba diving why not discover it in Spain? They have the best dive sites in all Europe and some of them are:

  • Placer de las Bovedas, this is one of the top diving sites in all Spain. This is a huge reef that is in the coast of San Pedro de Alcantara. It is approximately thirty meters deep.
  • Sierra, which is located just six kilometers of Estepona. Its dive site is about fifteen to twenty five meters deep. You will find rocks that are covered with sea squirts and sponges and also some walls with star corals.
  • Herradura, it is in the eastern part of Malaga. This dive site is ideal for beginners, the water is clear and you can find Octopus and its depth is about ten meters.
  • Punta de la Mona, this is also one of the best dive sites which can offer a lot of marine life. You will find here octopus, eels, seahorses, morays and so on.
  • Fraggle Rock which is the center of Marina Bay, you will find there in the dive site wreck of boats and a car, eels and octopus can also be found on the rocks.
  • Cerro Gordo, this dive site has caves and chimneys which has plenty of marine life. Its depth can take up to thirty meters deep, you will find there conger, eels, and also octopus and cuttlefish.
