If an adventure vacation to you means fishing, then Spain is the place to have that fishing vacation. There are numerous places to go fishing in Spain. Spain itself is rich in marinas, if you would want to do saltwater fishing; there are the Mediterranean and Atlantic shorelines, there also the Costa Brava, Costa Blanca and many others.
You can do saltwater fishing in the Mediterranean and Atlantic shorelines; you will find organizers that will take you fishing. You can actually do swordfish fishing in the months of July through September, in the coasts of Granada, Almeria, and Malaga and in Cadiz Bay. You can also do tuna fishing in the open sea of Barbate, Zahara and Isla Cristina. There are also sea bass, blue fish and the mackerel in the area and which are common catches during summer.
In Costa Brava, there is numerous fresh water fishing. There is the River Ter, River Onyar and River Segre. You can catch barbels, carps, eels and tenches in the River Onyar and River Ter. In the River Segre, you can do trout fishing yet you have to get a permit from the government before you can go fishing in this river. You can also do the saltwater fishing; you just have to hire some boats and head to sea.
However in the Costa Blanca, you can go fishing autumn, winter and late summer. Mackerel and tuna are two of the most abundant fish that you can find in this area. You can also catch some sea bream and sea bass.
