The freedom of flying is always a man’s envy to the Aves family. We are not referred to as the Superior Being if we can not address our heart’s desire.

…and we have properly addressed that jealousy (amidst history records of tower jumping) — hang gliding. Even if we do not have the wings to fly, we invented one to experience the pull of gravity and play of the winds in our hang gliders.

Gliding is an expensive hobby. As it is a recreational activity it can also be considered as a competitive sport. Only selective places cater to hang gliding as tourist attraction. And those who do offer them started only as hobby.

The Federation Aeronautique Internationale has set some strict guideline for those professional pilots who engage in hang gliding. This is to ensure the safety of lives not only of the pilot but also of the surrounding hang gliding locations.

Aerotow Tandem Instruction is deemed more progressive than the traditional learning of hang gliding. Florida is the best place to try your first hang gliding experience.

Yet…. Are we talking of the best? No, I would like to share the dream destination of hang gliding.

If I were given a chance to strut into a place with the necessary equipment for hang gliding… it would be the Serengeti in Africa. Then I would stage it during the Annual Migration.

As I fly over the massive land dotted with hundreds of animals from different families and classes, diverse colors, sizes and shapes, I would be then engulf with such wonder of God’s Creations. Of course, I also wanted to record these awe-inspiring events with a powerful camera gadget to share to everyone.
