January 9th, 2009 · No Comments

Summer season is one of the most exciting holidays or seasons every year aside from Christmas holidays and New Year. This is one of the seasons I am waiting every year because I enjoyed a lot of traveling. Most of the time I spent my summer vacation from other countries and now it seems that I already found the place where I should spend my next summer escapade and that would be in Aurora. Aurora is located mainly in the Philippines. It has been blessed of being covered with various alluring tourists’ attractions. Aurora as well is one of the best travel adventures all over the world, which is because of its captivating sceneries.

Countless historical architecture is found in here, such like the rest house of the prominent former president of the Philippines Manuel L. Quezon. The province as well is covered with religion façade. With its several astonishing Catholic Church, this would be the best place for the Roman Catholic devotees. Mostly, the churches that could be found in here have an ancient type of façade and designs. I can’t wait to visit their striking waterfalls; this would be the best place to take my adventure holiday vacation. As I browsed the internet today I daydreamed that I’ve been wandering around in their greenery mountainsides, swimming in their pristine beaches, experiencing their best beach activities like snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving and more.

Some of the sightseeing is Aurora is the following:

  • Baler Catholic Church—though it has only a simple façade however, this church had a significant role during its past histories. One of the memorable histories happened in this church was during the time where it became the last pocket of confrontation of the Spanish Armed Forces to give up to the American Troops.

  • Quezon Memorial Park—this beautifully designed memorial park was designed in memory of the late president Manuel L. Quezon. The well organized trees and lawns are captivating enough to allure the interest of the tourists.

  • Santo Entiero—the statute of Jesus Christ is put inside the glass coffin and displayed in the wooden chapel in Baler. The name of the sculptor is anonymous but accordingly this statue is miraculous and gives miracles into those who believe.

  • Ermita Hill—located exactly at the Casiguran town; this hill boasts a striking view of the whole part of Poblacion, the nearby barrios and the Casiguran Bay. Ermita Hill is best for adventure excursion together with your family, friends or love-ones.
