Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Jr., is the full name of Indiana Jones. He is a fictional character of the Indiana Jones franchise. Indian Jones is a professor of archaeology and history, adventurer created by George Lucas.

The first appearance of Indiana Jones is in Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, 1984- Indiana Jones and the Temple of doom, and more. The latest film starred by fictional character Indiana Jones is the latest 2008 Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal skull starred by Harrison Ford.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is an edutainment, adventure and serial. This film is a genre of entertainment made to educate or give knowledge as well as to charm and amuse audience.

The latest Indiana Jones film, a PG-13 adventure starred by the 65 actor Harrison Ford has already unearth $311 million on its release globally on the weekend not including Monday say reports from its distributor.

Paramount Pictures owned by Viacom Inc. (VIA) calculated that the film earned $151.1 million in Canada and U.S from Thursday until Monday and earned $160 million internationally, Monday not included.

The latest Indiana Jones film cost $185 million to create even with the main talent like Ford Harrison, George Lucas, writer and Steven Spielberg as director. Thus the success of the film is due to pull of this movie to adults which brought along their families with them. Almost 35% percent of the audience in Northern America is made up of the whole family both parents and children alike who rushed to their cinemas to watch this film.
