For whatever vacation that you would want to go, be it adventure travel or not, there is always a checklist on the things that you will bring with you.

If you are on an adventure vacation outdoors especially if it’s on a tropical country, here are some things that you should put on your checklist. Pack lightly that is the common thing that one must do especially for an adventure vacation.

For your clothing, these are some of the things that you should keep in mind to bring;

• pairs of shorts that are fast drying (river shorts and regular shorts)
• no jeans, just a lightweight jeans (it would be difficult for you to hike if you are wearing jeans)
• fast drying shirts
• walking shoes or hiking boots for hiking and a pair of sports sandals
• sweater or jacket preferably the light weight ones
• cotton socks
• underwear and a sleepwear
• Also don’t forget to bring some casual outfits incase you might go to a nice restaurant after or other places aside from the activities.

For other things to bring;

• Camera (to capture the memories of your adventure vacation)
• Water bottle (you need this especially doing activities like hiking and many more)
• Fanny pack
• Flashlight (with extra batteries, just in case)
• Sunscreen
• Insect repellent
• Toiletries
• Medicines especially for diarrhea, aspirin, antacids, cold and etc.
• And most especially don’t forget the first aid kit

For your important documents and important miscellaneous to bring;

• Passport and airline tickets
• Photocopies of your passport and airline tickets for both international and domestic flights
• If you are on important medication, bring your physician’s prescription.
• Cash money and credit cards
