Why anybody didn’t told me that Finland is such a great place to stay. Not to mention the husky ride that we expect in this place… but Ice Hotel? If sleeping in an Ice Hotel is not adventure enough then the staff has prepared more for you.
Finland has just more in its sleeve than anybody can imagine. If seeking for adventure precedes travel then head on this place.
Season is not a factor to consider when going to Finland for from winter to summer there is always something to go crazy over with.
During summer with or without the twilight light; Wild Brown Bear watching from a bear hide is just adventure anybody can get addicted with as you watch the bears fresh from their winter sleep in their natural habitat- wild taiga. Now you can photograph Teddy Bear in flesh; just remember that teddy is wild specie and hugging it is definitely out of question.
Finland really lived out its name, “The Land of Thousand Rivers”, with well not really thousand but just a blowing 188,000 lakes. Of course with it came several adventure travel water activities. From kayaking to water rafting to just lake hopping; walking adventure and horseback riding are just some of the adventure travel activities that you can add up to your summer holiday activities. The country’s rivers and lakes is just a perfect backdrop of some of these activities.
If touring Helsinki in a bus is quite tame then perhaps tour it with a bike, well for those younger groups and couples. A romantic and an unusual way of seeing the capital city of Finland and its many attractions!

The attractiveness of a stay in a Ice Hotel is the knowledge that in springtime it will just melt and a new one will be built again the next winter season. Imagine the very ice bed, ice table and chair you used on your stay won’t be there anymore on your next visit. What remain will be the memories and the picture you took.
