20 guidelines to Ecotravel

The world ecosystem is a priceless treasure which has to be conserved in its natural form. In order to positively modify the manner the world travels, we prepared a few short guidelines presented below.

  1. Comply with the rules of the places you are visiting.
  2. Learn about the vital eco-systems before arriving.
  3. Be aware of local history, culture and customs of the locals before arriving
  4. Wear clothes having forest friendly colours like green, brown and khaki.
  5. Park vehicles only in the specified area.
  6. Do not litter. Dispose the waste properly.
  7. Do not smoke. Eco places are mostly no smoking zone.
  8. Save resources. Be aware of resource shortages such as water and food.
  9. Avoid wearing strong perfumes and roaming in wildlife parks.
  10. Comply with international environmental conventions. Do not buy any animal products while travelling.
  11. Think twice before buying certain souvenirs. They may be not only made from endangered animals, but also illegal to bring back to your country.
  12. Be sensitive to displays of wealth in front of people from developing countries.
  13. Do not remove any objects, plants or animal products from its natural habitat.
  14. Do not feed the animals.
  15. Demonstrate responsible behaviour to other travellers who are less experienced than you.
  16. Encourage practices to safe the environment, including the use of renewable resources.
  17. Do not go swimming and boating in the lakes where these activities are restricted.
  18. Try to be always with your tour guide
  19. Use flash less camera in wildlife parks.
  20. Choose your destination carefully.
